Google considering withdraw from China

Google said that it may consider shutting down its operations in China, that mean Google.cn may be nearing the end of its life.

It remains to be seen whether or not Google will take such actions, but according to analysts, it could be possible.

Up until this point, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and others, have all complied with China’s demands. Censorship is a very hot topic for China, and while many companies and groups have spoken out against China’s restrictions on its users, government officials remain firm that censoring is the best course of action for its people.

中国电信终于能在即时通讯市场与中国移动平起平坐了。这一转折点定格在一款名为天翼LIVE的产品。经过一年多的准备，昨天，中国电信联合微软MSN共同发布了天翼LIVE，并开始相关业务的试商用。除了具有普通MSN即时通讯的功能之外，天翼LIVE还融合了爱音乐、高清影视、财经和汽车资讯、冲印照片服务等多种中国电信的业务和应用。

据中国电信介绍，天翼LIVE是中国电信继无线宽带（ChinaNet）、天翼视讯（Video）、无线全球眼（Global eyes）、天翼对讲（PTT）、综合办公（OA）、爱音乐（iMusic）、邮件推送（Pushmail）等多项3G产品及综合应用之后的又一核心应用，实现了互联网应用向3G移动终端的延伸。

“天翼LIVE可以与微软全球3.2亿IM用户即时沟通。”微软相关负责人表示。天翼LIVE包括PC版和手机版两种版本，目标用户是中国电信的现有用户。中国电信的133、153、189手机用户以及中国电信的宽带用户，都可以申请后缀为“@189.com”的中国电信通行证，完成天翼LIVE的登录。

正如飞信只针对中国移动的用户开放之外，天翼LIVE只针对中国电信的手机和宽带用户开放。

如果既是中国电信用户，也是MSN用户，则可以通过通讯录的导入完成两个账号的绑定以及联系人的更新。与飞信类似的是，天翼LIVE用户也可以直接通过天翼LIVE向中国电信的手机用户发送短信。

与飞信不同的是，针对中国电信的高端用户，中国电信还提供PC to Phone(电脑对电话的呼叫)功能，即可以通过天翼LIVE直接打电话，收费与本地电话收费相同。

背景介绍

早在2006年9月，中国电信就与微软展开了在搜索产品上的合作，2008年11月，双方正式达成联合品牌即时通讯产品的合作，由微软提供产品的后台技术支撑，双方进行了长达一年多的技术测试。

不过，由于移动业务起步较晚等原因，中国电信即时通讯工具的推出比中国移动的飞信晚了整整3 年，早在2006年5月，中国移动就推出了自己研发的即时通讯工具飞信。到2008年底为止，飞信注册用户达到1.47亿，2008年一年就发展了 7365万，活跃用户达到3724万，在内地IM用户市场排名第二。

“我们也并不是想通过提供的各种业务赚多少钱，主要还是想增强用户黏性。”中国电信家庭客户部的一位产品经理对CBN记者表示。随着未来3G用户争夺的进一步加剧，除了希望更多的挖角和分流竞争对手的用户之外，保证现有用户的稳定同样非常重要。

今天修改了blog的font，因为浏览器在中文显示中实在无法统一，所以设置成了所谓的“安全字体”，即所有平台包括Windows, Mac, Linux, etc都预装的字体，这样可以避免在一些浏览器下中文网页出现bug。主流的“安全字体”主要有9种：Arial、Arial Black、Comic Sans MS、Courier New、Georgia、Impact、Times New Roman、Trebuchet MS和Verdana。

以下都是典型的font-family的CSS组合格式[via]，可以从中挑选您喜欢的样式
